NCL Plans Annual Fashion Show Fundraiser

The NCL Capistrano Coast Chapter Will Hold Fashion Show on March 8th

The Capistrano Coast Chapter of the National Charity League (NCL) is proud to announce its annual Fashion Show fundraiser to be held on Sunday, March 8, 2015, at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa in Dana Point.

The proceeds from the fundraiser help support the philanthropies of the Capistrano Coast Chapter of NCL such as after school programs, U.S. military support, food banks, and senior activities. Funds are also earmarked for college scholarships given each spring to graduating seniors in need from our community. In addition, the NCL mothers and daughters spend thousands of hours of their time serving these charities.

Last year, the event raised over $50,000, which was the most raised in the history of the event. This year the Fashion Show theme is β€œThe World is my Oyster and I am the Pearl”. All models for the show will be the Chapter’s Class of 2016 11th grade members. One of the event’s most exciting raffles is a luxurious vacation for two and the choice between four destinations: Costa Rica, Canada, New York City or Napa Valley. Please contact Deborah Kirste (deborah.kirste@western.org) if you would like to purchase a $20 raffle ticket for a chance to win.

There will be many other sensational silent auction raffle prizes such as a beautiful three-piece pearl jewelry set valued at $500, donated by Simple Elegance Jewelry by Lisa Marie along with a $500 Nordstrom gift card, comprising our Champagne and Pearls Raffle. Many other local businesses have generously donated items for over one hundred silent auction baskets, which include amazing prizes such as four tickets to see Taylor Swift in concert at a Staples Center owner’s suite on August 26th.

National Charity League, Inc. is a mother/daughter organization dedicated to serving local philanthropies while fostering the mother/daughter relationship. Mothers and daughters commit to a six year program, from 7th to 12th grade, centered on community service.
