San Juan Resident Hopes You Recognize This Thief

Jackie Cadotte, a San Juan Capistrano resident, says she caught a woman on tape stealing decorations from her yard.

Cadotte has uploaded the video on YouTube hoping someone would recognize her.

The theft occurred Thursday morning between 4:45 and 5 at her home in north San Juan.

Cadotte’s home surveillance shows the woman loading yard decorations into her SUV.

“The value of the items was not that high, but the holidays are coming and I put out lots of decorations that I would hate to see stolen,” Cadotte said.

Cadotte said she hasn’t contacted the Orange County Sheriff’s Department yet, because the value of the stolen items is so low. But if someone contacts her with the possible identity of the theft, she’ll then file a report.
