San Juan Capistrano Friends of the Library presented a 1889 Press Conference to announced the vote on July 4, 1889, creating the County of Orange . Judge Richard Egan was portrayed by San Juan Capistrano resident Judge Warren Siegel. Mádame Helena Modjeska was portrayed by Camino Real Playhouse actress Jessica Morrow. Photos by Anderson Pearson.
