Stones Tribute Band Replaces Johnny Cash Act in Postponed Concert at the Mission

Mission San Juan Capistrano has announced a new Music Under the Stars concert for Saturday, Sept. 6, replacing the concert that was cancelled on Aug. 2.

The decision to cancel the Aug. 2 performance by Johnny Cash tribute band “Cash’d Out” was made after consulting with the band and production professionals who were concerned about the possibility of rain and lightning and the potential threat to more than 1,200 guests, Mission staff and volunteers.

The new concert will take place on Sept. 6 and will feature Jumping Jack Flash: Celebrating the Rolling Stones. Cash’d Out could not be rescheduled because they were already booked for Sept. 6.

Tickets from the Aug. 2 concert are fully transferrable to the Sept. 6 concert for either the same table or lawn seats “Section D,” as your tickets read.

For those who chose not to attend the added concert, a full refund is available. Tickets must be returned by Aug. 18. Returning tickets can be made two ways:

1) Visit the Mission Gate House between 9 a.m.-5 p.m. seven days a week;

2) Mail tickets enclosed with name, address and phone number of purchaser to:

If tickets are mailed in, a member of the Events Department will contact you by phone to receive a credit card number and issue a refund. Tickets must be returned by 5 p.m. on August 18 to receive a refund. Please note: Table tickets will not be refunded individually. To receive a full refund for a table, all tickets must be returned.
