The Helpful Guys in Blue Shirts will be visiting over 20 pumpkin patches

It’s that time of year again! Kids are getting excited, and the Guys in Blue are spreading Random Acts of Helpfulness across the Southland complete with pumpkins, trick or treat pails and other surprises!

The Helpful Guys in Blue Shirts will be visiting over 20 pumpkin patches from October 18th through October 26th to surprise families with FREE pumpkins. Cities range from Pasadena, Hollywood and Culver City, down to Whittier, Torrance, Irvine, San Juan Capistrano, Victorville, Ontario and Corona. The SoCal Honda Dealers are also bringing Halloween cheer to kids in local hospitals with pumpkin decorating events, complimentary costumes and Halloween decorations to brighten up their rooms. The Guys in Blue will also be surprising kids with glow-in-the-dark pumpkin pails at community events throughout the month. If you see a blue shirt at your local patch, it’s their job to carry your pumpkin, too! Tweet #HelpfulHonda to celebrate all acts of Halloween helpfulness.

WHY: Why? It’s their job to be Helpful. Buying pumpkins for residents across SoCal, giving back to children at local hospitals, and surprising firemen with breakfast and lunch to say thank you throughout September, are just some of the ways the SoCal Honda Dealers are being helpful in the community – no strings attached. The Helpful teams visit an average of 100 locations each week –from the Inland Empire and Riverside County to Los Angeles and Orange Counties-- to do small and large acts of kindness. They can be seen visiting grocery stores and shopping centers to open doors and load packages for residents, paying for driver’s gasoline with a big Free gas Tanker Truck, handing out umbrellas and providing escorts when it rains, picking up litter around town, volunteering at blood drives, hosting pet adoption events to find homes for animals, and more.
