Water Main Leak Fixed
Water pressure is back to normal for six San Juan Capistrano neighborhoods.

City workers have repaired a water main leak that left six San Juan Capistrano neighborhoods with lower water pressure today.
The city employed the reverse 9-1-1 system Thursday morning to let residents along San Juan Creek know that they should reserve water use for essential purposes only.
One of two water lines -- the one for drinking water -- broke, sending water rushing down the side of San Juan Creek Road between Paseo Christina and Camino Lacouague.
Workers turned off the non-drinkable line and reduced pressure in the drinking water.
The water is back to full strength, reports a city email, but crews remain onsite to complete clean-up efforts. For additional information or questions contact (949) 234-4400.
The following neighborhoods were impacted by the repairs:
- San Juan Creek Homeowners Association
- Rancho San Juan
- Hunter's Creek
- Paseo Riobo / Paseo Michelle
- Blenheim Farms
- San Juan Creek Park
