What Does San Juan Taste Like? Find Out
Nineteen local restaurants will participate in the event to get things rolling for the monthlong Fiesta de Las Golondrinas.
Have you ever said to yourself, “Self, I wish I could just sample all the restaurants in town without committing to a big meal or a possible big bill”?
Now you can. The monthlong celebration we call La Fiesta de Las Golondrinas kicks off Wednesday with the Taste of San Juan. Nineteen local restaurants will dish up the goods from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the San Juan Hills Golf Club.
The following restaurants will be there:

Patch plans to be there too. What, you say? We’re not a restaurant? True enough, but we’ll be dishing up some palette-cleansing sorbet so that you can best consider each dish on its own merits.
Then, when you go to rate the food – this is a contest, after all – you’ll do it without the soup tasting like the pizza and the chicken satay tasting like Mexican.

But wait, there’s more! When you finally form some carefully-arrived-at conclusions, you can tell everyone what you think at Patch. We’ll have the laptops fired up and ready to go. Because, let’s face it, if you’re going, you know plenty of people who wish they were going with you. Let them live vicariously through your insightful musings.
You get all this for 20 bucks -- and the band School Boy Crush (with some overlapping members of Family Style) will continue to play after the food is consumed.
We'll see you there.
