1 Wounded In Shooting In Oakland's Laurel District
A man was wounded by gunshots on Wednesday morning on a main thoroughfare in the Bay Area.
OAKLAND, CA — A man was wounded by gunshots early Wednesday morning along a major road in Oakland, police said.
The shooting occurred shortly after 1:30 a.m. in the 3800 block of MacArthur Boulevard on the edge of the Laurel District.
Officers who responded located the victim and evidence of a shooting, according to police. The victim suffered at least one gunshot wound, police said.
Paramedics took the man to a hospital, and he was in stable condition there, according to police.
