San Leandro Store Gutted By 2 Alarm Fire
The store is at East 14th Street and 136th Avenue.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — A 2-alarm fire gutted a 7-11 store in San Leandro Wednesday, Alameda County Fire Department Public Affairs Manager Cheryl Hurd reports.
Two people were inside the building when the fire broke out. They got out of the building before firefighters arrived. There are no reports of injuries.
The fire started in a bush outside the store at East 14th Street and 136th Avenue. It spread from the bush to the building.

San Leandro Police report that traffic was closed on E. 14th between 138th and San Leandro Boulevard while firefighters worked to get the fire out.
The fire was reported at 12:20 p.m. and was controlled at 1:36.
