As police responded, they received information that the group appeared to be driving a different vehicle.

Officers spotted the car and tried to pull the suspects over, police said. But the driver fled, leading police on a pursuit that lasted nearly 10 miles into San Leandro.

Finally the suspects got out of the car in the 1700 block of Bancroft Avenue, just before the car caught fire. Police arrested all seven suspects who had been in the car.

They included four males and three females between 13 and 17 years old, police said.

Their names have not been released. No one was injured in the vehicle fire and pursuit, according to police.
