Arrest Made In San Leandro Man's Homicide
Trevino Thomas died in Oakland earlier this month.

OAKLAND, CA — A Concord man has been arrested and charged in connection with a homicide that was committed earlier this month, police said.
On Saturday, Trevaughn Soriano, 25, of Concord, was arrested after he surrendered at the Oakland Police Department's Police Administration Building.
He was subsequently charged with murder by the Alameda County District Attorney's Office on Tuesday, police said.

On May 17 at 8:27 p.m. officers with the Oakland Police Department responded to a report of an assault in the 2700 block of 6th Avenue and located Trevino Thomas, 48, of San Leandro, unresponsive. Thomas was transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
