Arrests Made At Bay Fair BART Station Sunday, Monday

SAN LEANDRO, CA — BART Police made two separate arrests at the Bay Fair station in San Leandro on Sunday and Monday.

The first arrest came when police detained a man for alleged fare evasion. Police learned that the suspect had an outstanding $15,000 misdemeanor warrant. Osvaldo Gil, 42, of Berkeley was cited for the fare evasion and arrested on the warrant. He was booked at the Santa Rita Jail.

On Monday, Sondra Butler, 23, of Newark, was arrested for alleged domestic violence. Police say she was punching and slapping her girlfriend at the station.
