Body Discovered In Burned Vehicle In Oakland
A male body was discovered by police in a car that caught fire Friday night in Oakland, police said Sunday.
OAKLAND, CA — A male body was discovered by police in a car that caught fire Friday night in Oakland, police said Sunday.
Oakland firefighters responded at about 9 p.m. to the 2600 block of High Street to douse a vehicle that caught fire.
After the fire was out, firefighters asked police to tow the vehicle, according to police. Inside, police discovered the body, police said.

Police are calling the death "unexplained."
The name of the person was not available from the Alameda County coroner's bureau Sunday morning. The person had not been identified yet.
