Victim Of Deadly Crash On I-880 ID'd
The crash happened in San Leandro, according to the CHP.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — The man killed in a single-vehicle crash in San Leandro has been identified. Noah Esparza according to the California Highway Patrol and Alameda County coroner's bureau.
The 18-year-old San Ramon man died when his vehicle went off of northbound Interstate Highway 880 and crashed into a tree in San Leandro early Thursday morning. The 1:10 a.m. crash was south of the Aladdin Avenue overpass, CHP Officer Joseph Fowler said.
Esparza, the driver and lone occupant of the Honda, was pronounced dead.

There were no witnesses to the crash and investigators do not yet know why the vehicle left the roadway, according to Fowler.
