Fear Overload Hiring 'Scare Actors' For Halloween In San Leandro

SAN LEANDRO, CA – Fear Overload Scream Park is seeking ghouls to staff its Halloween season's fright attraction at Bayfair Center in San Leandro.

Auditions for "scare actors" are set for Sept. 16 at 2 p.m.

Interested? Then be prepared to "wow and terrify," according to operators, as your job will be to frighten the tens of thousands of folks who visit the popular, bone-chilling haunt each year.

Applicants are asked to first apply online to be in the company's system, but that is not mandatory for an audition, managers said.

Fear Overload, which features two haunted houses ("The Amnesia Ward" and "The Washroom" this year), runs Sept. 28 through Nov. 3, and is open from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. or until midnight on varying days. See calendar here.
