
OAKLAND, CA — The CHP reports major injuries in a fiery crash on I-580 in Oakland early Tuesday morning.
The crash happened in the westbound lanes just after 4 a.m. near High Street. A sig-alert was issued at 4:42 as all lanes were blocked. Officers were able to get all vehicles moved to the right hand shoulder, reopening traffic. The sig-alert was cancelled shortly after 5 a.m.
Shortly after the crash, multiple vehicles hit debris in the roadway and got flat tires.
