Firefighters Battle House Fire In San Leandro

The Alameda County Fire Department sent multiple crews to extinguish the house fire.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — The Alameda County Fire Department has extinguished a house fire in the 2100 block of Pico Place in San Leandro.

"Thankfully, there were no injuries and the fire is still under investigation" Deputy Chief Ryan Nishimoto told Patch. " Also, it is still unknown of how many people live there and may be displaced."

Pico Place is in a neighborhood of single family homes east of I-580.

The fire was fire reported at 2:51 p.m. Monday, according to the app PulsePoint.
