Sign and Dine Event For Deaf

Come play games and practice your American Sign Language skills in a relaxed, friendly setting

in San Leandro will host an evening of fun and learning on June 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. at which people can practice their sign language skills.

Beginners through advanced signers are invited to come enjoy light refreshments and play ASL games, scrabble and charades. Native signers are encouraged to attend to show learners how games are played in the deaf culture.

Cost to attend is $5 or ($1 for children age 14 or younger).
