Fund Set Up to Help Injured Boy's Family

SAN LEANDRO, CA - A Go Fund Me account has been set up to help the family of Jacob, a 12-year old boy who was stabbed three times during a robbery at a Wells Fargo Bank in San Leandro on Monday.

According to the funding request, "He was rushed to Children's Hospital where he had to undergo surgery for his stab wounds. Please help this family recover from this tragedy as there will be many legal, medical expenses and future treatment for the unfortunate trauma this young boy experienced."

The page also reveals that Jacob is here in San Leandro visiting his grandmother.

The fund is seeking $25,000 to pay health care costs and future trauma care.
