Hit-And-Run Driver Critically Injures San Leandro Pedestrian
Police believe the vehicle is a Hyundai Elantra. If you see one with front end damage - call police.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — A hit-and-run driver critically injured a 26-year-old man in San Leandro this morning, police said.
The collision was reported at 5:23 a.m. in the 13400 block of Bancroft Avenue.
Investigators determined the victim was walking alone when he was struck by a vehicle in the southbound lane of Bancroft, police said. The man was taken to a hospital and is listed in critical condition.

The driver and vehicle, which police believe is a Hyundai Elantra with front-end damage, fled and have not been found, police said.
