Do you know what botanists get when they cross kale and Brussels sprouts? Kalette!
SAN LEANDRO, CA — Have you tasted kalette? Neither have we, but Miyo Burnett of San Leandro grows it. Kalette is a cross between kale and Brussels sprouts. When the plant blooms, or bolts, it is done producing for the year. This plant bolted in April.
