Milkweed Pod Bursts Open: Photo Of The Day
Milkweed are a favorite of Monarch butterflies and are grown by some gardeners to provide habitat for the butterflies.
SAN LEANDRO, CA — October in the garden means that milkweed pods are bursting open. Miyo Burnett snapped this photo, and then collected seeds for next year. Hopefully, next year's plants will attract Monarch butterflies.
