San Leandro Crash Leaves One Dead
The crash happened on northbound I-880 at Marina Boulevard in San Leandro.
SAN LEANDRO, CA — One person was killed in an overnight crash on I-880 at Marina Boulevard in San Leandro.
The collision was first reported at 12:41 a.m. and involved at least two vehicles. At least one person has died, according to the CHP.
A Sig-alert was issued at 12:49 a.m. because all northbound lanes were blocked. The Sig-alert was canceled shortly after 4 a.m. when all lanes were reopened.

The CHP had just a short break before another deadly crash in the northbound lanes. That wreck was in Oakland.
