Pedestrian Who Died in San Leandro Hit-And-Run Collision Identified

A woman who was injured in a hit-and-run collision Thursday morning in San Leandro died from her injuries, according to the Alameda County corner’s bureau. San Leandro resident Madeleine Moore, 26, died after being struck by a vehicle at Hesperian Boulevard and Thornally Drive at about 9 a.m.
Police are asking for help identifying the driver of the vehicle, which they are describing as a black pickup truck.The truck may be a Toyota extra-cab or four-door cab with a chrome front bumper, according to police. Police said it’s likely to have front-end damage.
