Poll: UFO Sighted in San Leandro?

There is no cause for alarm. Probably.

But someone living in San Leandro's Farrelly Pond neighborhood spotted and photographed an unidentified flying object on Sunday, Feb. 19 at 5:16 pm  (1:16 UCT).

The sighting was reported to UFOStalker.com on Feb. 23 by a source identified as "MUFON" who left this summary of the sighting.

While taking his or her dog outside, MUFON looked up and saw "a very low white cloudy vapor trail about 100 feet high above the house on a clear night."

Hearing no plane or jet, MUFON ran inside to get a camera (Nikon D90) and captured an image of "a blue orb hovering above my house about 500 ft. This orb appeared to be glowing blue inside and blue white outside with rough edges, like a pulsating orb."

The sighting reportedly lasted about two minutes and 22 seconds before the orb moved out of sight.

UFOStalker.com says it has received six reported sightings from San Leandro in the last year.
