Missing At-Risk Woman Last Seen Leaving San Leandro Home: Police

Police say the woman was last seen leaving her home Tuesday morning.

UPDATE: Police said around 1:45 p.m Tuesday that Nancy Ortega, 75, was located. It's unclear where she was located or if she was found safely.

Nancy Ortega, 75, was last seen walking away from her home in the 1800 block of Lanier Avenue on Tuesday around 9 a.m. She is cognitively impaired and may be disoriented, according to the San Leandro Police Department.

Ortega is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. She has dark hair and eyes, according to a photo shared by the San Leandro Police Department.

The 75-year-old was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, purple pants with a paisley print, and brown sandals, police said.

The San Leandro Police Department asks that anyone who sees the man call 911 or its non-emergency number, 510-577-2740.
