San Leandro To Host Annual Town Hall For Districts 1, 2, And 5

The virtual meeting will take place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Mayor Pauline Russo Cutter and San Leandro City Council members Deborah Cox, Ed Hernandez, and Corina Lopez invite the community to a Town Hall meeting scheduled for Monday, June 8, 2020. The virtual meeting will take place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and is geared towards residents of San Leandro City Council Districts 1, 2, and 5, comprising the eastern portions of the City. The town hall meeting for the western portions of the city is scheduled for Monday, July 13th.

WHEN: Monday, June 8, 2020 - 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The agenda for the evening will include brief updates from Mayor Cutter and the three Council members. The updates will include the City's response to COVID-19, impacts to the City budget stemming from the pandemic, and updates on a variety of projects taking place across the city. The event format will also include extensive time for the public to ask questions or share feedback and concerns. A staff contact list will be available at the conclusion of the meeting for follow up comments or questions relevant to specific city departments.

"I look forward to our eastside town hall meeting. The first six months of 2020 have been challenging locally and globally. My colleagues on the City Council and our staff look forward to hearing from the public about what we can do to further support the community," said Mayor Cutter.
Interpretation services for the hearing impaired or language translation is available when requested at least three working days in advance of the meeting. Members of the public uncertain of the Council District in which they reside are encouraged to view the City Council District Map.
