San Leandro House Fire Displaces Residents

The fire early Monday prompted the Red Cross to respond with help.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Firefighters have extinguished a house fire in San Leandro that displaced two people early Monday, according to a tweet from the Alameda County Fire Department.

The department first tweeted at 3:25 a.m. about the fire reported in the area of Garcia Avenue and Lexington Avenue.

At 5:07 a.m., the second tweet announced the fire had been extinguished and that the Red Cross was dispatched to assist the two residents displaced.

There were no injuries reported from the fire.
