San Leandro Launches $14 Million In Street Repairs
Fed up with potholes and cracked pavement? The City is doing something about it.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — San Leandro has launched $14 million of street rehabilitation work, the largest effort in decades. The projects will improve over 27 lane miles on 78 street segments and update 143 accessible sidewalk ramps throughout the city.
"Our residents support for Measure BB and the City Council strategy of "Fix it First" is now about to be rewarded with an unprecedented increase rehabilitation work that will slow the deterioration we have seen in our City's most extensive resource" noted Mayor Cutter.
Measure BB was approved by Alameda County voters in 2014 and is providing the majority of funding for these projects.
