Missing San Leandro Man Located

SAN LEANDRO, CA — San Leandro resident Antonio Silveira has been found, the San Leandro Police Department reported Tuesday evening just after 6:30.

The department did not release information about where he was found or his condition.

Silveira left his home the 1100 block of Mersey Avenue, in the Washington Manor area, at around 3:45 p.m. Police first asked residents and businesses to check surveillance cameras for Silveira.

When that failed, police asked area hospitals and medical facilities to see if he had been admitted since Saturday. The 67-year-old man was considered at-risk because he needs medication.
