San Leandro Road Closed Until Aug. 15

Railroad tracks are being replaced requiring a full road closure for the entire duration with no through traffic allowed.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Washington Avenue, from 143rd Avenue to Halcyon Drive, will be closed for railroad repairs, starting at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, 08/08/23. The repairs have been scheduled through the morning of Tuesday, 08/15/23, for full replacement of existing railroad tracks. This will require a full road closure for the entire duration with no through traffic allowed. Please expect delays.

All public access must use detour route provided on website below; please plan accordingly. We understand this will cause an inconvenience to the traveling public; however, track maintenance is necessary for the public's safety. We appreciate your patience during this project.
