A suspected homicide victim found dead in a burning car in North Oakland on Friday evening was identified today as 35-year-old Ana Gonzalez-Hernandez of San Leandro, according to police. Her body was found in the burning vehicle in the 6100 block of Marshall Street, just off San Pablo Avenue, at 7:52 p.m. Friday, police said. Oakland firefighters first responded to reports of a burning vehicle and found Gonzalez-Hernandez's body inside. She was pronounced dead there. Police are investigating her death as a homicide, but have not said if she suffered injuries not related to the fire. They have not disclosed any arrests or any description of possible suspects.--Bay City News
