Suspect In February Shooting At San Jose Business Arrested In San Leandro
The 24-year-old was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, police said.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — A San Leandro man has been arrested in connection with a shooting in February at a San Jose business that left one person hospitalized, police said.
Police say Marteis Sims, 24, is one of four people arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in a shooting in the 90 block of South Street on Feb. 15.
Sims, Isaac Ortiz-Guerrero, 24, of San Jose, Gabriel Martinez, 24, of San Jose and Sean James Jr,. 22, of Elk Grove, were arguing with another man that night when James Jr. pulled out a gun and shot him multiple times, according to the San Jose Police Department.

The man survived the shooting, and James Jr. was taken into custody after employees at the business restrained him, police said.
Officers later identified Sims, Ortiz-Guerrero and Martinez as suspects in the shooting and took them into custody on Thursday, May 14, police said.
