Voter Registration Deadline Approaches For Special Election

Do you want higher taxes, San Leandro? Voting is already underway.

From The City of San Leandro: The deadline to register to vote for the August 29, 2017, San Leandro Unified School District Special Vote-by-Mail Election is Monday, August 14, 2017.

Alameda County residents must be United States citizens, 18 years old and not in prison or on parole for the conviction of a felony, to be eligible to register to vote.

Voter registration affidavits are available at the Registrar of Voters office and at libraries, fire stations and post offices. You may also complete the registration form online at www.registertovote.ca.gov. Completed affidavits must be delivered to the Registrar of Voters’ office at 1225 Fallon Street, Room G-1, Oakland, CA 94612, or postmarked by Monday, August 14, 2017, in order to be valid for this election.
