White Supremacist Wanted For East Bay Kidnapping

The Alameda County Sheriff's Office says the suspect is associated with white supremacist and outlaw motorcycle groups.

HAYWARD, CA — A fugitive that the Alameda County Sheriff's Office has labeled "armed and dangerous" is being sought by law enforcement officers, and they're asking the public for help in spotting him or his car.

The fugitive is 49-year-old Douglas Allan Pruitt who is accused of being involved in a kidnapping, robbery, felony assault, domestic violence and burglary incident on Dec. 17 in unincorporated Hayward. An arrest warrant has been issued.

He is known to frequent Hayward, Castro Valley and Fremont, but residents around the area should keep a watchful eye for Pruitt.

According to a release from the Sheriff's Office, Pruitt "has connections and associations with white supremacist and outlaw motorcycle groups."
