Patch Blog: Beauty 101--Sugar Sweet Skin
Sugar isn't just for baking....see what great things it can do for your skin.

“A wise woman puts a grain of sugar into everything she says to a man, and takes a grain of salt with everything he says to her." - Helen Rowland
The last couple years sugar has gotten the "boot" from most of our kitchens. With the craze to go sugar-free, and to lighten your daily intake of sugar, I wanted to enlighten those of you who might not yet know of one of the greatest health benefits of the good ‘ol white stuff…SMOOTH SKIN!
Now don’t rush to the kitchen to start gobbling up the stuff……used TOPICALLY it is one of the best skin scrubs on the market. Just a spoonful dissolved in wet hands and worked over your face will keep it silky smooth and flake free. After your daily shower, work a spoonful into your wet hands and rub over your heels, knees, elbows and other areas that tend to get dry, rough and flaky. Prior to using a self-tanner, use sugar as a body scrub to naturally exfoliate. It’s inexpensive, natural and free of harmful preservatives and chemicals. Now there’s something to raise your sugar bowl to!
