Patch Blog: My MUST-HAVE List for This Summer

Okay, so I'm aware that the weather has been bipolar recently, but I know this summer is going to be a HOT one! 

You may be getting ready for trips to Cabo or maybe just a day at the beach. Here are my summer must-haves for 2011.
 
Number 1 on my list is: gorgeous skin. To keep a healthy and skin cancer-free body AND maintain a summer glow, it is essential to have Extra Smooth Sun Protection Lotion SPF 38 by Shiseido. Never underestimate the importance of flawless skin. My favorite teacher at , Ms. Martin, always emphasized maintaining and moisturizing your skin! 

The most important summer accessory--a great pair of shades! You can complete a look with wearing statement sunglasses. This summer, 1950's-inspired cat-eye-shaped sunnies are all the rage. Forget the oversized, cover-your-entire-face look. I recommend Kate Spade eyewear since it's affordable and chic.

The fashion question for 2011... What is your phone wearing? Since we are on our phones, answering emails for work, texting and calling all day, our cell has become a major way to express personal style. Add a pop of color this season with a Jagger Edge cell phone cover! Do it in a bright turquoise, orange or pink for a fun and playful style. 

The beauty must is NUDE LIPSTICK. The color nude in general is perfect for any accessory this summer. I'm currently in love with my Revlon matte lipstick. It's called Soft Nude and it compliments every skin tone. For a sophisticated look, wear the matte lipstick during the day at the office or on a lunch date. To glam it up at night, throw on a layer of clear gloss for a dewy sensual lip.

Forget the scandalous Brazilian bikini this summer, it's all about a sexy vintage inspired one-piece! All the latest fashionistas are wearing lots of layers with their swimwear including cover-ups, belts, and even lots of jewelry.
