Carver Online Auction Ending Sunday
Those wanting to support Carver Elementary School and bid on items like high-end entertainment tickets and kids items have until Sunday at 10 p.m.

's PTA announced the following:
The bidding has begun! Carver Elementary School is holding its , with this year's items promising a virtual jackpot for everyone. Items up for bid include sports and entertainment tickets, salon services, as well as children's birthday parties and summer camps. Also back by popular demand: Disney Day, featuring park hopper passes and special Disney souvenirs. Theme park enthusiasts can also enjoy tickets to Universal Studios with special “front of the line” passes.
Carver's online auction will raise vital funds for the public elementary school, which educates more than 600 K-5 students in San Marino. Money raised will go directly to support the school's computer lab, as well as music programs and arts education.

“The money raised by the on-line auction supports vital programs not paid for by the state,” says Auction Co-Chair Donna Balbin, “These programs are very important to a well-rounded education for our children.”
Last year's online auction raised over $24,000 for K.L. Carver Elementary. The online auction, in conjunction with a live auction at the annual Parent Party, is the single biggest fundraiser of the year for Carver's PTA.

Says Principal Liz Hollingsworth, “Community support is more important than ever as we strive to provide an excellent education in such financially challenging times.”
