Call me mid-century modern, but why has "No problem" erroneously replaced "You're welcome" as the proper response to "Thank you" in a service-providing organization? In a restaurant, school campus, sporting good store, high-end retailer or hotel, I keep hearing the same incorrect response to a provided service. If I were asking for a favor from a familiar person, it would be comforting to hear, "No problem," but when I am paying for goods or services, let's consider correcting our responses to "You're welcome" or "My pleasure" or "Happy to help."
