One of the most interesting photos shared so far is a 2005 photo of the Kawai family in front of the Japanese Garden moon bridge and lush landscape. The photo includes David Kawai, the grandson of Japanese craftsman Tochiro Kawai, who helped build the Japanese Garden--including the bridge and bell tower--in 1912.

The Huntington also has a separate gallery devoted to Japanese Garden Scenics.
