for a very special evening under the stars celebrating the Institute for
Educational Advancement’s 15 years of connecting bright minds and recognizing Dr.
Henri Ford and Mr. Stan Kong for their service to IEA's Apprenticeship Program
and the Los Angeles community.
Dr. Ford is the
Vice President and Chief of Surgery at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and has
been an IEA Apprenticeship Mentor for 7 years. Mr. Kong is Head of Product
Design at Pasadena City College as well as a faculty member of the Graduate
Industrial Design program at Art Center College of Design and has been an IEA
Apprenticeship Mentor for 14 years.
For 15 years, IEA
has directly served more than 1,900 gifted students and their families. The
Moonlight & Stars Benefit Dinner will raise funds for IEA’s unique programs
supporting gifted students. Proceeds from this event will help us continue
inspiring youth to reach for the stars.
