Monday's Your Deadline to Register, San Marino Voters!

Trump or Clinton? Legal marijuana? No more death penalty? Property tax increases? Homeless aid? There's a lot at stake this election.

LOS ANGELES, CA - County election officials reminded residents Thursday that Monday is the deadline to register to vote in the upcoming election.

There are variety of ways people can register in time for the Nov. 8 election.

Wannabe voters can register online at www.lavote.net. Registration forms are available at libraries, post offices and most government offices, and can be mailed in. The forms can also be dropped off at the registrar-recorder's office at 12400 Imperial Highway in Norwalk, on the third floor.
Residents can also use the website to check their registration status.

In addition to the presidential race and the senate race to Replace retiring Sen. Barbara Boxer, there are a myriad of statewide measures tackling everything from the legalization of recreational marijuana to the abolishment of the death penalty.

A little closer to home, San Marino voters will be voting for a new County Supervisor for the first time in 36 years.
-- 5th District : KATHRYN BARGER vs. DARRELL PARK. Barger, a Republican, has been Supervisor Michael Antonovich's chief deputy supervisor for 15 years (Antonovich, a Republican, is termed out this year). Park, a Democrat, is an author and clean energy entrepreneur who has worked in the White House Office of Management and Budget.
