Police Seek Armed Home Invasion Robbers In San Marino
A trio of armed men robbed a San Marino man in his driveway and then entered his house where his son was asleep in bed.

SAN MARINO, CA Authorities Friday were looking for three suspects who robbed a man in his driveway in San Marino.
The armed robbery occurred at 12:22 a.m. Wednesday in the 2000 block of Melville Drive where the victim was approached by the three men after just pulling into his driveway, said San Marino police Sgt. Tim Tebbetts.
One suspect was armed with a black handgun, which he pointed at the victim and demanded his wallet, keys and watch, Tebbetts said.

The victim complied with the gunman's demands and then was ordered to remain in his vehicle while the three men used his keys to enter his residence, according to Tebbetts.
The victim used his cellphone to call 911, reporting the incident and said his adult son was asleep in an upstairs bedroom.

Officers arrived in under a minute and set up a perimeter around the home while San Marino Fire Department personnel used a ladder to safely rescue the man's adult son through a second-story window, Tebbetts said.
Officers completed a search of the interior of the residence and surrounding properties and were not able to locate any suspects, Tebbetts said.
All three suspects were described as about 20 years old, and between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 foot 10 inches tall, according to Tebbetts. Two of the men were wearing black hooded sweatshirts and the suspect with the gun was a wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
