May 18, 5:30 p.m., 1120a Huntington Drive
Join us for the opening of Iris Nola's one-woman show. Iris, a Maui artist, will be showing her work. We invite everyone to the opening. Please join us for for an evening of music, wine, pupu and flowers flown in from Maui.
Conference: Geneaolgies of Genius
May 18–19, 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.,
International scholars across several disciplines will discuss the idea of genius in modern societies, beginning with the concept's emergence in the 18th century and paying particular attention to the complex role of the “genius figure” in democratic culture. $25. Attractions at the event will include: pony rides, petting zoo, hot air balloon, face painting, dunk tank, rock climbing wall, basketball, bounce house, 28' Jumbo Slide, raffle, pancake eating competition, Jr. Firefighter Challenge and much more! A $5 entrance fee goes to San Marino charities. Tickets can be purchased at the or the day of the event.
