7th Annual OysterFest at Waterbar
Waterbar restaurant in San Francisco celebrates sustainable oysters with an outdoor fete benefiting the San Francisco Surfrider Foundation

WHAT: Join Waterbar restaurant in San Francisco for its 7th Annual OysterFest, a celebration of sustainable oysters, food and fun! OysterFest 2015 will take place on Sunday, August 30, 2015 on Waterbar’s bayside patio surrounded by magnificent views of the Bay Bridge, Treasure Island and the city skyline – as oyster enthusiasts “unhinge” their favorite delicacies. Waterbar has the largest and most eclectic selection of oysters in San Francisco and last year more than 5,000 oysters were served during OysterFest 2014.
Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit The San Francisco Surfrider Foundation, which is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans and beaches. Last year, OysterFest raised $14,000 for the organization.
WHO: This outdoor festival will feature delicious small bites from oyster lovin’ restaurants & farms including: Waterbar, EPIC Steak, Farallon, Fish, Dobbs Ferry Restaurant, Woodhouse Fish Co. and A16. To quench guests’ thirst, a selection of Napa Valley wines and micro-brews including Anchor Steam, Trumer Pils and Speakeasy will be served.

Guests will also enjoy live music and entertainment by local band Lovefool and win fun prizes for oyster shucking and best hot sauce.
