BART Delays Caused By Track Equipment Issue In SMC

A supplemental bus services is available to help travelers bypass the affected area.

SAN BRUNO, CA — BART riders faced significant delays Thursday morning after an equipment issue on the tracks near San Bruno disrupted service on the SFO Line.

BART reported at 11:19 a.m. that normal service had been restored on the red and yellow Lines.

The transit agency issued a service advisory at 8:43 a.m., warning that the disruption was affecting commuters traveling in the Antioch, Richmond, SFO and Millbrae directions.

To help mitigate the impact, SamTrans is providing supplementary bus service. Route 142 and the southbound EPX are operating between San Bruno and SFO, while the ECR route is running between Millbrae and Daly City.
