Become a Trained Smoking Cessation Facilitator

Incorporate Ash Kicker’s Smoking Cessation program into your organization:

Breathe California provides a FREE facilitator’s training once a year to organizations who are interested in adding a smoking cessation component into their programming. Through an interactive approach, the training will provide information on the theories, facilitation skills, and communication techniques required to successfully aid one’s clients in quitting smoking. By the end of the six hour training, facilitators will feel confident and be certified to teach Ash Kicker courses.

Breathe California’s Ash Kickers program provides

• Program materials in the form of free workbooks and nicotine patches

*Within San Mateo Co. **Materials provided through a grant from the San Mateo Health Dept. Tobacco Prevention Program.

• On-going technical assistance for classing being conducted at your site.
• New research developments in the field of smoking cessation
