'Big Man Bandit' Tied To San Mateo Bank Robbery
The FBI is looking for a man they call a serial bank robber in the region.

SAN MATEO, CA — The FBI on Monday asked for the public's help in finding a serial bank robber in the Silicon Valley area. The man, whom they've dubbed the Big Man Bandit, is connected to a series of recent holdups in the region, officials said.
The man is accused of robbing a San Jose bank on march 15, a San Mateo bank on 17 and another San Mateo bank on March 23.
"In each robbery, he handed the victim teller a note demanding money and threatening a gun," the FBI said of the man's method.

The suspect is described as a white man who is about 6 feet tall with a large build and weighs around 300 pounds.

He's apparently a sports fan, too. He has been described as wearing an Oakland Raiders or Golden State Warriors ball cap in each robbery. He was also clad in a light sweater or jacket and jeans in each incident, the FBI said.
