UPDATED: Highway 92 All Clear Following Big Rig Wreck
The eastbound side of the roadway was partially closed for more than two hours Friday morning.

SAN MATEO, CA — A big rig fire reported on Highway 92 has prompted officials with the California Highway Patrol to issue a Sig Alert this morning and close two lanes on the eastbound side.

According to the CHP, emergency crews were working to clean up diesel fuel on the road, and all eastbound lanes of 92 just east of the 101 were initially blocked due to the incident.

However, by 11 a.m., the number 1 lane was reopened to traffic, CHP logs indicate. It's not yet known how long the numbers 2 and 3 lanes will remain closed.
