Body Pulled From Ocean Off SMC Coast: Cops
Sheriff's officials say the man was found near the Pigeon Point Lighthouse.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — San Mateo County sheriff's officials are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was pulled from the Pacific Ocean on Monday.
According to sheriff's Det. Rosemerry Blankeswade, a man was heard calling for help just before 5 a.m. in the area of Highway 1 and the Pigeon Point Lighthouse.
"The distressed man’s location was unknown, so San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office personnel scoured the areas along highway 1, the bluffs above the ocean, as well as the surf line," she said in a news release.
